Great meals and cold beer. Friendly staff. Try the 3 egg omelette for brekky. Thumbs up.
I visited on a Saturday afternoon. It was busy, but this did not affect service. Steak was nice, and cooked well. I thought salad and chips could be improved. And I found staff were a little too eager to take plates and glasses from table. Overall a good visit.
Was put into the older wing. I passed another guest at the entry door to that wing, we commented to each other how gross it was that a used meal tray had been left outside the room right at the main entry. Tray was still there 4 hours later when I returned to my room. Confusing layout to find reception. Found myself walking through a busy restaurant with my bag trying to find where it was. No signs posted from the car park that there was a tiny back door with steps to cut through. However, reception staff were extremely pleasant and friendly and the bar & restaurant areas looked nice.
Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable and good value for money. The restaurant downstairs is also very good and serves a range of well priced meals
Nice place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. Not much to choose from on the menu however. But friendly service all around and great place to meet up with people.
