How do these doctors decide to bulk bill you one day and then charge you over $70 for a follow up 5minute visit. Not happy
It's a great clinic because the staff are usually very friendly and the doctors always remember your name. The only two downsides is the old carpet and they don't make it easy to book an appointment. It can take days to get one and sometimes the only availability is when it's most inconvenient for you. I think they should go digital and make a website that allows to to see what time they are and aren't available.
Its rather unfortunate you have to give a star rating to be able to comment, 1 Star is way too generous for this place. I have tried to call and make an appointment for over a week, only for the phone to ring out with no answer at all, or for the rude and unprofessional staff to answer with Mount Isa Medical Centre, hold and place you on hold for over 10 minutes before attending to you. Not everyone has the privilege to walk in to the clinic to make an appointment, so phoning is my only option. When I finally got an answer after trying several times a day for a week, I made an appointment only to get turned away on arrival as the lady who made my appointment didnt create it correctly. I ended up going to Sonic Health Plus and highly recommend their clinic.
Walked in place in a disgusting condition old and run down dirty carpets. The day before i made an appointment stated my name dob as is usual, got there they had no idea who i was but didn't tell me that after i had checked in with reception and had been waiting there for 20 minutes.
Very good practice. Always make themselfs available and are genuinely interested in YOU - all have good memory for names
